Falkenberg Municipality is a growth municipality, and with that, our operations need to develop services to meet our residents' needs today and tomorrow. The HR department works in several areas to develop the employer role and to be an attractive workplace.

We at the HR department, consisting of about 40 employees working with HR, payroll, and staffing issues at both operational and strategic levels, are now looking for an HR specialist. We sit together in centrally located offices in Falkenberg.

As an HR specialist, you will be part of an ambitious team and be part of an HR team that works closely together with a customer focus. You will be part of a team with eight other HR specialists who work closely with HR developers, negotiation managers, and report to the HR unit manager. In your role, you will act as HR support to one of our departments and work broadly within the HR area, with both strategic and operational issues.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As an HR specialist, your role primarily involves being a consultative support to managers based on all existing HR processes and operational issues. Coaching and challenging managers in the development of their leadership is an important part of the job. The work involves providing support and guidance in areas such as work environment, labor law, wage formation, and competence supply. You will work proactively through communication, introduction, training initiatives, and support managers in their efforts to capture signals in the organization to improve the work climate and drive organizational development.

You will be part of a smaller team of HR specialists where we work comprehensively with all existing HR processes. The HR specialists have deepened areas and process responsibilities where you will have the opportunity to shape the work within your areas of expertise with support and assistance from your colleagues. Since we work broadly across the entire HR area, you have the opportunity to influence the direction of your position based on your previous experiences and competencies.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a bachelor's degree in HR or work science or other education that the employer deems equivalent.

You have previous experience in the HR field or another area relevant to the position, preferably from a larger organization in the public sector. Particularly meritorious is if you have documented experience in work environment, rehabilitation, and analysis of key figures.

As a person, you have a consultative, professional, and coaching approach, and you enjoy working in a team with colleagues where humility, collaboration, and helpfulness are crucial. You make people listen to you and can adapt your communication based on the target group you meet. The role requires you to have a holistic view and the ability to focus and maintain a realistic perspective in various situations. You can take responsibility for a task, plan, and organize your work effectively.

We also see that you have good IT skills and are comfortable using digital tools and AI in a conscious, responsible, and safe manner. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
